For the past three years Capital Pride has approached BYT to produce their official Pride Week event. 2010 saw Homo Erectus: The Evolution of Pride, a playful dinosaur and cave man themed takeover of the iconic Washington Hilton hotel featuring every popular gay DJ the city has to offer, great room deals, a t-rex ice luge, and a state of the art sound system and light show. In 2011 we brought the event to the Newseum for the largest Pride party in history. The sold out rainbow themed event featured gay icon DJs and perfomers, cult gay movie screenings, a giant inflatable Twister game, a VIP lounge and the most colorful BYT photos to date. For 2012 we hosted the first gay event at the newly restored historic Howard Theatre in 60 years. The sold out party entitled Wildlife was a sensory overload experience with a non-stop show of DJs, bands, drag queens, balloons, lasers, contortionists, and custom BYT designed visual projections.
